Dear Reader,

We assume you are at this website because you bought Helix: The Post Apocalypse, High-Tech, Fantasy, Western Role Playing Game.  We thank you for your purchase and support.

Unfortunately, we have moved on.  Everything we ever worked on is still here for you to use.  All the “Connect with the Helix Staff” information is still up to date and usable.  Feel free to contact us for any reason.

Again, thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
The Staff

Cleaning Things Up

On Monday, May 25, 2009 we’ll be deleting our MySpace page.  Additionally, we no longer will have the forum.  They are both dead weight at this point and it is time to clean things up.

The website will remain in tact and maintained, as will the email address.  The Twitter name will change as our projects change, but it will still be the same people (Adam & Gloria) behind the keyboard.  Our YouTube page with our videos will remain up for as long as the YouTube supreme being allow it.

We’re working on streamlining everything as we put the work of Helix to bed.  We thank those who have supported the game in the past and in the future.

Sincerely,
Adam & Gloria Weber

(Kind of) New Review!

Though it was posted in January, it wasn’t until now that we got see a YouTube review for Helix done by CptMachine.  Check it out!

Where’s my content?

Those who pop in to check on the game regularily may have noticed a lack of content updates.

We have decided to stop producing new content to focus on other endeavors.  So what does this mean to you our faithtful champions?  It means it is now in your hands, as was always my intention.

Helix was never meant to have as much free content as it did.  I intended to produce a small indie game that hopefully some people would love.  with a solid fanbase that would become a community producing content for it and sharing it freely the game would become yours.

what happened was that I ended up with waaaaay more content then I could fit into the desired number of pages(designated to keep costs, and retails, down) and some content that just kept coming and threatend to push our vague deadline back.  So we doled it out over a couple months since it was written anyway.

what this means is that it is now up to you.  go create great stories, lemme hear about them.  go to the forum(yeah I know its kinda wonky but its free) post ideas, questions, theories I will read them and sometimes answer.

There’s a new game out there…

There’s a new game called The Magpie Codex out at DriveThruRPG.  Only Quick Play Rules are available, but the full game is soon to come.  It is made by long time friend, Paul Jessup.  Check out the website here or go buy it ($2) at DriveThruRPG!
